Questions writers ask us.

Short answers about your book, the assistant, working with others and your account. Can’t find yours? Write to us.

Your book

Who owns what I write in Fuseplot?

You do. Fuseplot stores your book so you can write it, and processes it only to run the service. See the Terms.

Who can see my book?

Only you. Each account sees only its own books. Someone else can open a book only if you invite them, and then only the parts you share.

Can I bring in a book I’ve already started?

Yes. You can import a manuscript from a text or Markdown file, or paste chapters into the Writer.

Can I export my manuscript?

Yes. Export the full manuscript as Word, Markdown, HTML or plain text whenever you like.

Can I write in Greek, or another language?

Yes. The Writer works in any language, and you can talk to the assistant in Greek, Greeklish, English or the language your book is written in.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Fuseplot runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers.

The assistant

Do I have to use the AI?

No. Every part of Fuseplot works without the assistant. It only runs when you ask it something.

Will my book be used to train AI?

Fuseplot doesn’t train AI models. When you use the assistant, the parts it reads are sent to the AI provider of the model you chose. Read exactly what is sent, and to whom.

Can the assistant change my book without asking?

No. It edits only when you ask it to write or change something. Every edit appears in the chapter and can be undone, and you can ask for suggestions to review instead.

Which AI models can I use?

You pick from the models in the assistant’s model menu, from providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic.

Working with others

How do I invite my editor?

Open Share in your book, enter their email, choose a role and the parts they may see, and send them the invitation link. More about sharing.

Can my editor see my notes?

Only if you share them. Access is set separately for the manuscript, Story Bible, research, comments, AI history and settings.

Can we write in the same chapter at the same time?

Live writing together is coming soon. Today your editor can comment and suggest edits, and the access list updates the moment someone joins.

Your account

How much does Fuseplot cost?

To decide See the pricing page, which is still a draft.

How do I delete my account and my books?

Write to us from the email address you signed up with, and we’ll delete your account and your books. Contact us.
